जब से उत्तर प्रदेश में योगी सरकार का गठन हुआ है तभी से योगी का डंडा यूपी की ख़राब कानून व्यबस्था और बेलगाम हुए अपराधियों पर चल रहा है. यूपी की कानून व्यवस्था सुधारने के लिए पुलिस प्रशासन अब काफी सख्त हो गया है। योगी सरकार के कड़े फैसलों के बाद प्रशासन ने अपराधियों पर लगाम लगाने की रणनीति बदलते हुए अब उन्हें परलोक सिधारने में लग गई हैं। हालत ये है कि अब अपराधी अपनी जान की भीख मांग रहे हैं।

ऐसा ही एक मामला शामली के कैराना में देखने को मिला। जहां दो सगे भाई अपने हाथ में पोस्टर लेकर घूमते नजर आए। उस पोस्टर पर लिखा था कि वे लोग अब से अपराध नहीं करेंगे। उनको माफ किया जाए। दोनों ही इलाके के कुख्यात बदमाश बताए जा रहे हैं। दोनों का कहना है कि ‘मैं भविष्य में किसी भी अपराध में शामिल नहीं रहूंगा। भविष्य में मैं कठिन परिश्रम करके रुपये कमाऊंगा। कृपया हमें माफ कर दें।’
यूपी में पुलिस ने एनकाउंटर में तेजी लाई है। ऐसे में इन्हें डर है कि कहीं यूपी पुलिस उनका एनकाउंटर न दे, इसलिए वे ऐसा करके सार्वजनिक तौर पर माफी मांग रहे हैं। सलीम अली और इरशाद अहमद नाम के इन अपराधियों का कहना है कि इनके नाम पर शामली और कैराना में कई मामले दर्ज हैं। अब इन्हें डर सता रहा है कि कहीं बाकी के अपराधियों की तरह इनका भी एनकाउंटर न हो जाए। ऐसे में यह अब अपराध की दुनिया को छोड़कर एक अच्छा जीवन बिताना चाहते हैं।
इस संबंध में कैराना थाना के प्रभारी भागवत सिंह ने बताया कि मोहम्मदपुर राई गांव निवासी दो सगे भाइयों इरशाद और सलीम के खिलाफ लूट और हत्या के नौ मामले दर्ज हैं। दोनों एक माह पहले ही जमानत पर जेल से बाहर आये हैं। बता दें कि अजय पाल शर्मा को मिस्टर एनकाउंटर के नाम से जाना जाता है। वह जबसे शामली के एसपी बने हैं, वहां बदमाशों की शामत आ गई है। लगातार बदमाशों के साथ एनकाउंटर हो रहा है।
