Kidney Failure-
Diabetes और BP से ग्रस्त लोगों में किडनी खराब होने की आशंका अन्य लोगों की तुलना में 10 गुना अधिक होती है। मोटापा, धूमपान, Diabetes, BP, 50 वर्ष से अधिक उम्र, किडनी में स्टोन, यूरिन में रुकावट आदि समस्याएं हैं तो आप हाई रिस्क ग्रुप में आते हैं। प्राय: जब किडनी 65 फीसद से अधिक खराब हो चुकी होती है, तभी समस्या का पता चलता है।
Kidney Failure होने के लक्षण शुरुआत में महसूस नहीं होते हैं। इसलिए किडनी सेहतमंद रहे, इसके लिए जरूरी है कि स्वयं जागरूक रहें। क्या हमारी किडनी में किसी तरह का संक्रमण है? इस सवाल का जवाब यूरिन के परीक्षण से मिल जाता है। हाई रिस्क ग्रुप के लोगों को हर हाल में यूरिन का परीक्षण कराते रहना चाहिए।
Kidney कमर के पास दाएं व बाएं दोनों तरफ होती है। इसका मुख्य कार्य शरीर के विषैले तत्वों को यूरिन के साथ बाहर निकालना है। इसी के साथ ही हृदय द्वारा पंप किए गए रक्त का 20 फीसद हिस्सा किडनी में आता है, जिसे यह छानकर विषैले तत्वों को अलग करती है और खून को साफ करती है।
Kidney का हाल जानना आसान है:
Kidney कभी भी दो-चार दिन या सप्ताह भर में खराब नहीं होती है, बल्कि इसके खराब होने में लंबा वक्त लगता है। एक सामान्य परीक्षण कराकर कभी भी आप अपनी किडनी की सेहत के बारे में जान सकते हैं। किडनी खराब हो रही है, इसकी पुष्टि रक्त की जांच सीरम क्रिएटनिन व यूरिन में प्रोटीन की मात्रा से होती है। इस परीक्षण से भी एडवांस परीक्षण माइक्रोएलब्यूमिन परीक्षण है। आमतौर पर 80 फीसद लोग अस्पताल तब पहुंचते हैं, जब किडनी खराबी की अंतिम स्टेज पर पहुंच चुकी होती है। इसे क्रॉनिक किडनी डिजीज कहते हैं।
एक अनुमान के मुताबिक 100 में से 17 लोगों की किडनी अस्वस्थ होती है। Diabetes के कारण 30-40 फीसद लोग Kidney Failure के शिकार हैं, जबकि 15 फीसद लोग उच्च रक्तचाप की वजह से इसकी चपेट में आते हैं। हर साल लगभग दो लाख लोग किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट की लाइन में होते हैं, पर तीन हजार मरीजों को ही यह सहूलियत मिल पाती है।
सुरक्षित रहेगी किडनी
- डाइट में प्रोटीन की मात्रा नियंत्रित रखें।
- विटामिन सी किडनी की सेहत के लिए जरूरी है।
- सेब, पपीता, अमरूद, बेर का सेवन लाभकारी है।
- किडनी को स्वस्थ रखने के लिए पर्याप्त मात्रा में पानी पिएं।
- शरीर में विटामिन डी और विटामिन बी 6 की कमी न होने पाए।
- खीरा, ककड़ी, गाजर, पत्तागोभी, लौकी और तरबूज फायदेमंद हैं।
- हरी सब्जियों जैसे टिंडा, परवल, सेम, पत्तागोभी और सहजन का सेवन करें।
- नमक कम खाएं। कई बार नमक कम खाने से किडनी को काफी राहत मिलती है।
- 35 वर्ष की उम्र के बाद समय-समय पर रक्तचाप और शुगर की जांच अवश्य कराते रहें।
- अगर किडनी से संबंधित कोई तकलीफ हो जाती है, तो शीघ्र ही नेफ्रोलॉजिस्ट से परामर्श लें।
Kidney Stone होना ठीक नहीं :
किडनी में स्टोन का समय पर उपचार न होने से इसका सेहत पर खराब असर पड़ता है। गर्मी के दिनों में इसका अटैक 40 फीसद तक बढ़ जाता है। डिहाइड्रेशन की वजह से भी किडनी में स्टोन होने की संभावना हो जाती है। इसकी वजह से किडनी फेल्योर की आशंका भी बढ़ जाती है। जब भोजन में कैल्शियम, फॉस्फोरस और ऑक्जीलेट की मात्रा अधिक होती है तो स्टोन या पथरी बनती है। इन तत्वों के सूक्ष्म कण यूरिन के साथ निकल नहीं पाते और किडनी में एकत्र होकर स्टोन बनाते हैं। सूक्ष्म कणों से मिलकर बना स्टोन अक्सर दर्द की समस्या खड़ी करता है। किडनी में स्टोन होने की समस्या पुरुषों में अधिक होती है।
इन आदतों से किडनी फेल होती हैं:
कम पानी पीना, बहुत ज्यादा नमक खाना, उच्च रक्तचाप व डायबिटीज के इलाज में लापरवाही, ज्यादा मात्रा में दर्द निवारक दवाएं लेना, पेशाब रोकना, सॉफ्ट ड्रिंक्स और सोडा का अधिक सेवन, अल्कोहल का अधिक सेवन, विटामिन डी की कमी, प्रोटीन, पोटेशियम, सोडियम, फॉस्फोरस वाले खाद्य पदार्थों का अधिक मात्रा में सेवन।
