Arvind Kejriwal started his political career as a crusader against black money and corruption.
On 8th november, PM Narendra Modi’s announcement of demonetization of currency to fight against black money was followed by a series of tweets by many except Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal finally decided to break his silence after India’s largest mobile payment platform Paytm printed a full front page ad with PM’s photo in the country’s leading newspapers so as to promote their mobile platform.
Arvind Kejriwal reacted to above advertisement by sending a series of tweets and called it ‘utterly shameful’ and questioning the PM’s intentions too.
His tweets were followed by a series of replies with one of the befitting reply from Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar too.
This is not the first time that PM Modi’s face has been used to promote a company in the private sector. Before this Reliance Jio has printed a similar full front page ad on 2nd September. Then also PM’s intentions were questioned by Kejriwal.
